The first thing came out of my mind when asked about where to visit, genuinely it pop out, the Russia. Russia is a unique country that spans eleven
time zones. Within it vast land expanse, lie the largest freshwater lake in the
world, the Lake Baikal, rivers and forests teeming with fish and wildlife, awe
inspiring volcanoes, and towering mountains. Russia is the largest country on
earth with enormous amount of land, great nature and cultural heritage waiting
to be discovered.

For most westerners, Russia is associated with
its most cities, the Moscow and St. Petersburg. These two cities is the
heartland of Russia, and these great and ancient cities often become the focus
for most international guests. Russia is an interesting place to visit because
it is steeped in history and culture. You could visit sites with cultural
importance, including the Kremlin.
From amazing architecture in Moscow and St.
Petersburg, to tiny villages and natural wonders, Russia has a lot to offer
spread out over an immense geographical area. Moscow and St. Petersburg are
visited the most since they are easiest to access, safest and most developed
cities in Russia, with most of the cultural, architectural and historic centered
there. These two great and ancient cities often become the focus for tourists
visiting Russia. Moscow, with its long heritage of traditional ancient Russian
churches and the beautiful Kremlin, and Saint Petersburg, which is the most
European of all Russian cities, are the highlights of the great country.

PETERHOF PALACE |
First off, the city has some great palaces. I
want personally seeing as many as I can, especially the Winter Palace, Peterhof
and Catherine Palace in Saint Petersburg. I also want to visit the State Hermitage
museum and view the largest Russian collection of art deposited in Russian
State Museum. Their lavish palaces build in Tsar era which
still standing beautifully and gracefully really attract my interest.

In addition, the Bolshoi Theater and Ballet and also Mariinsky Theater, the two well-known art center which originated since the ancient Russian Romanov dynasty which stages some of the most critically acclaimed ballet and theater performance. Their colorful St. Basil’s Cathedral building was ordered by Tsar Ivan and completed in year 1560. There however, scores of legends, a dubious one that say Tsar Ivan had the architects blinded so that they could not create anything to compare. Historians unanimously state that this is nothing but urban folklore. That's pretty much all the genuine history that's I known about this celebrated landmark.
ST. BASIL CATHEDRAL |
I
think it would be an interesting place to explore architecture and beautiful
art. I know they have cold winters, but I'd go in the summer. I have read and
studied a lot about Russian history, culture, and etc. It would be very cool to
see what I read about in books, in person. Even though I don't speak Russian, I
love the Russian language, and would love to try their food. Some major city like St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kiev, and
Odessa would be cool. Some of those may not be in Russia proper, but the food
in Odessa is awesome from what I heard.
Their history
fascinates me and I have heard it is so beautiful.
